NetscapeŽ Extra E-Mail Address Service Terms and Conditions Print This Page


Thank you for your interest in ordering extra e-mail addresses for your Netscape account (the "EEA Service"). The EEA Service is a supplemental service governed by the NetscapeŽ Internet Service Agreement (https://admin.isp.netscape.com/tos.php) and supplemented by the additional terms below ("Terms"). By signing up for the EEA Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

EEA Service
The EEA Service lets you add two more e-mail addresses to your Netscape Account. You can find details about your EEA Service by clicking on the "Extra E-Mail Addresses" link in the Service Plan section of the "My Account" area of the Netscape Internet Service. In order to subscribe to the EEA Service, you must be a registered member in good standing of the NetscapeŽ Internet Service and at least 18 years of age. You are responsible for all activity regarding the use of the additional e-mail addresses. You and your Account may be subject to disciplinary action or termination if the extra e-mail addresses are used inappropriately. If you allow a child under the age of 13 to use any of the additional e-mail addresses, you certify that you are the child's parent or guardian and you agree to Netscape's policies and practices disclosed in the Netscape Kid's Privacy Policy, which you can review by clicking https://admin.isp.netscape.com/tos.php.

Payment Terms
You agree to have any EEA Service fees, including any applicable taxes, added to your monthly bill for your Netscape membership and charged to the same billing method you use to pay for the Netscape Internet Service. Any fees charged for the EEA Service are due in advance and are nonrefundable. You understanding that your first bill for the EEA Service may be higher to incorporate a full month's bill plus any pro rata amount owed for the service if you subscribed between billing periods for your Netscape membership. You can review the status of your monthly fees by visiting "My Account" on the Netscape Internet Service. Your payment method will be charged automatically every month until such time that you cancel your subscription or Netscape otherwise terminates your subscription.

Promotional Trials
If you have registered to try the EEA Service under any promotion, including any free trial period, you must cancel your EEA Service subscription before your trial period ends in order to avoid being charged the monthly fee.

Unsolicited Bulk E-Mail
The EEA Service may not use to send unsolicited bulk e-mail. Any violation of this provision may result in immediate termination of your Account and further legal action. You agree that Netscape may take any legal and technical remedies to prevent unsolicited bulk communications from entering, utilizing or remaining within Netscape's networks.

Support; Upgrades
You can find information concerning technical support for the EEA Service by going to Help Central, E-Mail Questions, "Extra Email Addresses" on the Netscape Internet Service. Technical support may be subject to additional surcharges; go to Help Central, and then "Contact Support" for information about surcharges and the current rates that may apply for technical support by telephone.

Changes to the EEA Service
Netscape in its sole discretion may change or discontinue any or all aspects of the EEA Service. Netscape may modify these Terms, change its fees and change its billing methods at any time. Netscape will provide you with notice of any change in pricing or material changes to these Terms at least thirty (30) days in advance. If you disagree with any proposed change, your sole remedy is to cancel your subscription before such change takes effect. Otherwise, you will be bound by the revised terms if you keep your membership. Netscape will not refund any charges if you choose to cancel your subscription for this reason.

Cancellation Policy
Discontinuation of the Netscape service will also discontinue your EEA Service and associated fees. You may cancel the EEA Service by contacting Member Services at 1-866-541-8233, 8 A.M. to 1 A.M. Eastern Time weekdays, 10 A.M. to 10 P.M. Eastern Time on weekends.
